Sunshine, Snow, and party dresses!

We have certainly been making the most of our post holiday time at home! The weather has been AMAZING...Warm with a chance of snow seems to sum it up perfectly.

Gigi and Papa got Hadley tickets to Knuffle Bunny at The Kennedy Center for her birthday back in November! As if seeing one of her favorite books acted out on stage with awesome musical numbers wasn't cool enough, getting to do it all dressed up at the Kennedy Center took it to a whole other level!

Post show, Harper decided that The Kennedy Center corridor in her Christmas dress was the best time to debut her first attempt at running! Her legs were going SO fast, but there wasn't a whole lot of forward progression. It sure was cute though!

Going exactly as expected

THERE it is!

This past weekend we were hit with 60 degrees of gorgeous sunshine, so we spent a lot of time outside soaking up as much as we could in case winter ever decides to show up.

Harper didn't seem too sure about this...

The fact that this shot is a little blurry is perfect because we just happened to look up and see that it was FINALLY snowing and then proceeded to scream and race around the house getting bundled up as fast as we could to get outside and play!

Harper's first real encounter with snow

Despite the frigid temps, Harper refused to let me put a mitten on her right hand. That would have meant letting go of Dora. When I did force the mitten on, she didn't feel comfortable with the grip she had on Dora, so off came the mitten again. Her hand turned bright red and was the main reason we eventually had to go inside. She gets her stubbornness from her father ;)

SNOW!!!

This week the cooties that have been swirling around our house since we got back from Pennsylvania claimed it's 4th victim. Nope, not Hadley. She is somehow immune to this virus. It was the nanny. So this is what a Tuesday at home with Daddy looks like:
