Hadley is already a fine-diner, attending Congressman Sam Johnson's office Christmas dinner at Ruth's Chris on Monday night. She also attended her first dinner party on Saturday night...staying wide awake through two normally scheduled naps. There was music and lights and kids running around so Hadley didn't want to miss a thing. Somehow last night wasn't too rough after all of that. She also had her first of two photo shoots! Part 1 consisted of just a few ADORABLE sleepy baby pictures, so hopefully Part 2 tomorrow will find her awake and alert. I'll post the link to those photo galleries when all of the pictures are up.
We also started really trying to force her to nap in between feedings. This was sometimes easy, but mostly a struggle. Two majors factor being that it causes us too much anxiety to let her cry it out in the Pack-n-Play in our bedroom with our neighbors right above us, and her nursery in the basement is still a foreign place for her. So lots of rocking and lots of failed attempts, but as we move things to the nursery in the next week or so hopefully things will go smoother. She did cry it out today in the Pack-n-Play (we figured it was 11:00 a.m. so the neighbors could just deal with some screaming for a few minutes) and fell asleep on her own. So that's a good sign!
As a result of our busy week, we didn't take too many pictures. But here are a few cute ones :)
