After crossing off every day on the kitchen wall calendar for two weeks, the day finally came when Uncle Chris was coming to town!! Chris, Aron, and I stressed all night leading up to his flight because the forecast called for a MASSIVE snow storm. Schools were closed in advance and grocery stores were emptied of toilet paper and french toast ingredients. And in a most blessed turn of events, not a single millimeter of snow accumulated near the airport/our house, and Chris's flight came in EARLY!!
First things first, the girls gave their favorite uncle a tour of all of their most favorite toys...and Hadley tried to bring in every single pair of shoes she owned before we stopped that.
Story time at Barnes and Noble
Lucky Uncle Chris got to see the thespians in action.
On Thursday after school Uncle Chris and Hadley took the metro into the city and met Daddy at his office to go grab lunch. Then it was off to the museums, just the two of them!
But that's fine, because Harper and I were having our own fun back in Virginia!
