Christmas in Virginia

Before we packed up and headed to Pennsylvania for Christmas, we had our own little Christmas in Virginia, just the 4 of us. We spent the afternoon opening the gifts from Grammy, Gigi, Papa, Izzy and Uncle Chris. There were books, and princesses, and trains, and movies, a doll house, and even a trip to Disneyland!! It was a heck of a way to kick off Christmas!

Harper wanted in on the Dora dollhouse action in a big way, and Hadley wasn't very amused.

Had's first suitcase!!
Naturally it traveled to Pennsylvania with us...and she was horrified when I told her it would be stored with the boring old luggage when we got home. How dare you, Mommy!

"Is the coast clear?!?"

Fast forward 10 years and this will be Harper sneaking into Had's room to read her diary.

One can only hope she doesn't try to eat the diary like she did with Dora.

Thankfully Grammy got Harper a train set that Hadley wanted to play with, so we now have leverage when Hadley tries to yell at Harper for playing with her dollhouse. Brilliant planning, Grammy!
