In case anyone thought Hadley might not be having any fun...

Fret not!

Once Harper's gnarly umbilical cord stump fell off she was able to make the move into the tubby with her big sister. Hadley is thrilled by this development and would love nothing more than to soak Harper from head to toe, so she gets to do some light rinsing after Harper is all lathered up.

Aunt Steph and Hadley had a fun pool date last week when we had a week long break between grandmother shifts. She was a life saver!

Looking for King Triton

So thankful that Aunt Stephie could take her for one last dip in the pool before they all closed!

And THEN...

BALLET CLASS!!! Ms. Lynne runs a tight ship in her class. She let the moms stay for the first class but from now on it's drop off only...sniff sniff :( The girls also must speak French during the class, if you can believe that! It's "Merci, Ms. Lynne," and "Au Revoir, Ms. Lynne." Hadley was even asked what color her special dot was...not pink. It was "rose." So stinking cute! Time for Mommy to brush up on her colors so Hadley will be able to wow Ms. Lynne :)

Being instructed to say "Merci, Kate," upon being handed the magic wand for her spin around the circle.

Hadley was a little timid to do things solo at first, so this was more of a brisk walk around the circle, instead of the intended "tip toe[ing] like a ballerina."

Learning Ms. Lynne's 3 rules: "Look, Listen, and Zip It!"

Pointing her toe and learning how to curtsy

Look at my little peanut (second from the left)!!! Granted the girl to her left is 5...but still, Hadley is the youngest and naturally the littlest ballerina in the class. Adorable.

Getting her stamp from Ms. Lynne at the end of class. Hadley is used to getting a stamp on EACH hand at Gymboree, so after getting her stamp and taking her place in line, Hadley jumped up and announced, in English ;), that she needed a stamp on the other hand. Ms. Lynne said no. She's all about business! But in all fairness, Ms. Lynne called the house later that night to check in and see if Hadley had enjoyed herself, and she said that she thought Hadley did "beautifully." Now if only I can find some way to spy on the class every week, because it's just too cute to miss! Oh well...we'll just have to wait for the recital!
