ANYWAY, to say that Hadley is growing up would be a serious understatement. After measuring her height THREE times to be sure the nurse had it right, we found out that Hadley grew THREE inches since her 6 month check up!! She still seems like such a little peanut to me though. Things took a turn for the worse when we discovered that there would be shots at this visit...something we were not prepared for. Thankfully Dad was there to keep his girls under control.
Big girl Band-Aids for the big girl
They also pricked her finger and squeezed it, for what seemed like hours, to test for anemia and lead. Hadley was NOT pleased. We heard a new cry, which was very unsettling for Mom, as Dad giggled and the nurse apologized a million times.
As a reward, since she's still too young to be taken out for ice cream....
We went to the playground! Our neighborhood is known for it's amazing playground that we'd yet to make it to, so today seemed like a great time to go. All the big kids were at school so Hadley and some new friends had the run of the place.
Then on to the sandbox where Hadley encountered sand for the second time in her life. Here we met three new friends for Hadley and two new friends for Mom!
You should see the color of Had's white onesie and Mom's white pants after this. Brilliant wardrobe choice for this outing.
I think we like trucks...not that there's anything wrong with that ;)
