BLACKOUT

Tonight we had our first blackout since Hadley was born, and I now get why my parents were never as excited as I was when this happened. Hadley was unphased...not seeming to mind playing with her toys by candle light, while I stressed and frantically crammed a month's worth of meat, fish, baby food, and breast milk into coolers. Once that was done, and Aron was home with take out, we sat back and enjoyed some Scrabble in the dark while Hadley slept soundly...even when the lights came back on, which automatically turned on the CD player in her room! Amazingly she didn't even notice. Such an angel :)
