Today we took a day trip to Baltimore to see friends who had yet to meet the munchkin, and Hadley was determined to do things her way. She decided to nix her normal 3 hour eating schedule, and go on a hunger strike for about 8 hours. She was way more interested in sleeping, talking, and playing with mom's friends then she was in eating. After 4 failed attempts to get her to eat while we were there, we packed up and headed back home, for fear that she'd starve to death if we dawdled any longer. Ok, I didn't think she'd actually starve to death, since she appeared to be quite content most of the afternoon, but I just wanted to get her back to familiar surroundings to see if that did the trick. And wouldn't you know she chowed down when we got home.
Mom wanted to show off my curls to her friends so before we left she stuck my head under the kitchen sink
So with my curls and my pink sparkly sneakers, we headed up to Baltimore
And once we got there, my curls went flat and my sneakers came off, but I got to cuddle with Christine and her giant sparkly engagement ring!
