Hadley's TWO MONTHS OLD today!! Time flies when you're having the most fun EVER! Hadley was nothing short of totally awesome and amazingly brave this week. She went back to the hospital on Friday for more tests and was such a champ. She had a sonogram, through which she mostly slept, and then had to undergo another not so pleasant catheter situation. This time they were injecting her with liquid and taking pictures. She fussed just a little bit, as did Mom, but in the end just laid there, strapped to a little baby back board with one of Dad's fingers in one hand and one of Mom's in the other, and waited for it to be over. She even made it to a party later that night!
This week she started really interacting with others. She now loves sticking her tongue out and having someone do it back to her and going back and forth. SO CUTE! She also can scoot around her play mat on her belly with the help of just a steady hand at her feet so she can push off. She also just started trying to suck her thumb, which is really cute. Especially since she doesn't quite have it down and her fingers get all bunched up by her nose, not really allowing her to breathe easily...so it's more of an open mouth thumb suck.
Unless the doctors say otherwise because of the medicine she's still on, she has her first round of vaccinations on Monday at her 2 month check up. But after what she's already been through, she'll probably just tell the doctor to Bring It On!
