Mommy got to chaperon another one of Harper's field trips early last month to a local high school where the band performed lots of familiar songs for the kids, as well as taught them about each of their instruments!

So happy and dancing in her chair...shocked over and over again that she knows the songs they're playing!
After the band teacher and the students talked about their instruments they walked them up and down the aisles so the kids could see them up close and even touch them.
Not a single guitar in the performance and Harper turned to me afterwards and announced, "I want to take guitar lessons like Hadley." Excitement about learning an instrument was the point of the field trip, I think, so mission accomplished!
