Who needs sleep anyway?!

In case you're wondering when the best time to have 2 big nights in a row as a 4 year old is...it's definitely NOT Daylight Savings Time weekend! Sheesh...we all need another weekend just to recover from all of the festivities on top of our stolen hour of sleep.

Friday night at 6:00 p.m. we dropped a pj-clad Hadley and her pillow pet back off at school for movie night!

Just like in the morning, the headmaster was there to greet the anxious party goers...in her pj's, which was a nice touch!

As we walked away we overheard the start of the ground rules: "No pillows to the head!"

It basically involved running around outside the school for a few minutes and then going home and immediately to bed.

THEN THE DAY HAD FINALLY ARRIVED!!!

Harper burst into tears when she and Hadley were in opposite positions for this picture, but instantly pulled it together and beamed as soon as Daddy picked her up.

Next we went over to Anna's house for a little "pre Prom" photo shoot for the mamas, since we aren't allowed to go!

Mama KK held a quick clinic on how to properly walk like a princess. Harper was all over it.

Hadley danced her heart out all night. At one point she stopped dancing and was literally just running laps around the dance floor. Anna left early after melting down, and Livi also lost her battle eventually, but Hadley was as happy as could be the entire time!

Mmmmmm....ice cream! I asked Aron to place the entire tablecloth over Hadley's dress when it was time for ice cream, but this was a good second option. Not a drop spilled!
