Celebrating 9 months with Gigi!

On Thursday Harper turned 9 months old!!! And if that wasn't reason enough to celebrate, Gigi came for a visit!!

9 months old means it's time for...

YOGURT!!!
It was a smashing success. She loved it.

Out for celebratory fro-yo with Gigi, with Harper clinging to every breath she can get while in a choke hold.

Having had ample practice by now, Hadley wanted to show off her culinary skills to Gigi. The result: The best sugar cookies to date (the winning factor being that we were actually able to discern what shapes they were this time)!

And like her mother, the frosting was Hadley's favorite part.

9 months also marked the unveiling of a new smile. Check THAT out! Harper debuted this look last week and continues to bring it out when something is just too funny for a simple sweet grin. It's like her face can barely contain the enjoyment!

Off to the Mall on an overcast afternoon

One thing is for sure, no one brings the enthusiasm like Gigi!

Harper's maiden spin on the carousel. She wasn't too sure at first.

Thankfully by the end she seemed to be digging it a little bit.

All packed up and ready to fly home, Hadley made sure Gigi had the very special pink frosted cookie with rainbow sprinkles that she made for Papa.
