Tulle, Grandparents, Tiaras...it's Birthday time!!! Saturday we celebrated Hadley's upcoming 3rd birthday. We planned it for the first weekend in November in an attempt to get ahead of the cooler Fall weather, and it paid off! While it was slightly cooler than the balmy Halloween weather we had the week before, jackets and the fire pit took any weather related distractions away so that fun could be had by all! And without a little nip in the air the s'mores wouldn't have been such a hit!

We kicked off the day in style with tiaras at breakfast!

Grammy was in town for the birthday girl...and some snuggles and smiles from the munchkin.

Grandfathers in full effect!
Papa was a SURPRISE guest who took us ALL by surprise!

Grandmommy and Granddaddy unveiled their gift for the birthday girl:
Mommy's awesome refurbished doll house with a houseful of fancy new furniture!

And she never came out of her room again...

Just kidding...how could she stay in her room when her very own princess castle was waiting for her outside?! Gigi made all the decorations when she was here a couple weeks ago, and Grammy and Grandmommy put it all together.
Tacky, over-the-top, and PERFECT!

In an effort to give the boys something a little less girlie to get excited about, I bought foam swords...but after this first bout they were promptly taken away. Bad idea.

S'mores!

Hadley took a break from the party so that Mama KK could see her open the gift she got for her. We all knew the reaction would be classic!

Cupcake time!

Always room for marshmallows!

Aunt Stephie helped build up Hadley's Disney Princess movie collection with a classic: Snow White. She was SO excited!!

Grammy had the brilliant idea of getting Hadley some Princess underwear...now if only Mommy would get a little consistent we might get Hadley potty trained one of these days!

This brings Hadley's number of Ariel dolls, big and small, to FIVE! All different and all adored equally.
