OBX trip pics

Hadley and I are back from the beach and missing those sunsets and pajama dance parties already. But we came racing back to surprise Daddy when he got home from work by walking all the way across the house to him! Hadley's officially a walker now, so it's time to really child proof the house. That wasn't the only milestone that came about as a result of 5 days with Momma Sarah and Charles. Hadley expanded her vocabulary to 3 words with the addition of "Hi!" Here are some highlights of our fun-filled trip to the beach:

7:00 a.m. Monday morning...time for a ROAD TRIP!
Momma Sarah looks psyched, Charles looks sleepy, Hadley looks skeptical, and Miss Tilly (the dog) already looks car sick.

So typical...Charles conserving his energy for the 5 hour drive, while Hadley doesn't want to miss a MINUTE!

Hadley tries out a tangerine lollipop for the first time...LOVES it, and then sticks it to Miss Tilly, who is trembling in between the two car seats.

LUNCH BREAK, "Let's go, Had, I'm starving!"

10 miles to go and guess who FINALLY falls asleep?

We all had some energy to burn after that drive. Charles thought he'd swim it off.
