Her first plane ride down went really well, much to our relief. Mini nap on take off and a mini nap on landing...and lots of playing in between. She doesn't sleep in her stroller or car seat, so why did we think she'd sleep on a plane?! But thankfully no fussing. She just didn't want to miss anything!
Hadley's first dunk under the water!
She handled it like a pro. Aside from the look of utter shock at what just happened to her, there was no coughing and no tears. We're going to have her swimming laps by the end of the summer!
She is the first of the 4th generation to dine at this family favorite. She'll probably have her first burger and eventually her first beer here too!
One last cuddle with Gigi before heading to the airport.
Mom was very nervous about her first flight with Hadley by herself...but after a series of delays, a long wait on the runway, some screams here and there, and a couple minutes of pacing the aisles talking to nice grandparents and parents on the plane....

That's awesome that you all were able to get to Florida for a little bit! Sounds like you did great with Hadley alone on the plane. . . you are one brave woman. We are actually going to Texas in a few weeks to visit some friends- all 5 of us. I have no idea how our 2 1/2 hour plane ride will go, but hopefully all will go well. I am so excited to get away. It will be a fun trip- but it will be interesting to go with all 3 kids!
