Aron captured the 24 week old belly picture this morning before my monthly check up. At the appointment, the doctor measured my belly for the first time and told me everything looked good. When the doctor put the Doppler machine on my stomach to listen to Egbert's heartbeat we heard the beating immediately, as opposed to prior months where we had to search for the little bugger for a while. Apparently there's not a whole lot of room in there anymore for someone to swim away! The highlight of the appointment came when TWICE Egbert gave a swift kick to the Doppler, which produced 2 loud thuds in between the little heart beats. I guess someone was sleeping and didn't feel like being disturbed. It gave mommy and the doctor quite a giggle :) I'm sure this comes as no surprise to my parents, who never liked having to be the ones to wake me up in the morning!

Ugh! I have belly envy. :-) You're lookin' great!!! Only 3 or so months to go! Isn't it still so surreal????
Wow!! Cuz, you look great!! The ultrasounds look so neat. We are thrilled to see them!
